Discussion Question:
In the annual meeting of Jabbar Pvt. Ltd all the departments were required to give some suggestions for improving the overall performance of the organization. The suggestion came from Human resource department was to use personality tests at the time of recruitment to get the best person job-fit. The HR manager recommended “Big Five Personality model” for measuring personalities of candidates. This suggestion got high appreciation and acceptance from the top level managers.

Keeping in view the above scenario, do you think “Big Five Personality dimensions” will give the clear picture of employees' future performance?

4.Neuroticism: Individuals high in this trait tend to experience emotional instability, anxiety, moodiness, irritability, and sadness.


5.Openness: This trait features characteristics such as imagination and insight, and those high in this trait also tend to have a broad range of interests.

Yes Big Five Personality dimensions will give the clear picture of the employees future performance because "The Big Five" model is a personality theory that describes personality using five basic traits. Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism make up this theory... an easy way to remember this is with the acronym OCEAN. And these traits play an important role in the future performance of the human resource and directly for the future performance of the organization
